The hosting organisation is run by a team of professionals in the field of arts and social/cultural background. Its aim is to bring young people together and to make them aware of the many possibilities on a national and international level.
The project offers you the chance to work in an organisation that runs an active art gallery. The gallery is more than just a place for exhibitions. It is an atelier where artists live and create work. It’s also a place where young people come together to plan international projects and to create all kind of activities. Keywords of the project are diversity, ideas, action and art. The project brings young people from all over Europe together creating a melting pot of ideas. If you want you could be working in this place for three months The project consists of working in the daily routine of the gallery and besides this creating your personal projects. During the project we invite you to challenge yourself to work with other EVS volunteers. Goal is to create art exhibitions in any way thinkable in and around our gallery. Be prepared for a lot of work, freedom and for a lot of fun.
During the project volunteers will be living in so-called Eurohouse. This is the place where the office is located, art gallery and house for the international team of volunteers. The house is located in the middle of the city centre so all facilities such as shops, cinema, library and bars are just round the corner. Volunteers will be provided with a bike as well.
This project offers young artists to further develop through EVS in art and also has priority in the selection of the volunteers.
