” Have you ever had so much things to do and people to talk to and other bunch of stuff that you didn`t realize your time passes so fast?
When I first arrived to Ljubljana I thought it would be sooo long but now I just stop and think for a moment and I realize that I have been here for 4 months! I have 8 more months left from my EVS and if this went by so fast then I don`t know what to expect from the upcoming months…
It is just weird. Every day lasts 24 hours and still I have shorter days and longer days. Usually it depends on when I get up in the morning, at what time I arrive in the office and how much stuff I have to do in the next 6 hours while I`m there.
The thing is, not only the time flies here but it flies really fast in general. Such a breakthrough huh? HAHAHA I am being silly but it is the truth.
Somehow during this year I moved to another country (temporarily but still), my parents are almost 60 and my stupid younger sister is already 18 (will be, on Dec 24th). How in the hell did this happen?
I didn`t even glanced back and here I am, already 23, it is almost Christmas (seriously 2016. what is wrong with you? Where did you go?) and did I mention my 5 years younger sister is going to celebrate her 18th birthday in 2 months? Seriously, she was just a small, stupid baby-creature just last year. I am not even going to talk about my 20 year old younger brother. I feel old when I say/write these things.
And I think I notice mostly how the time flies when I see a new episode of Supernatural. Friggin season 12 is on! YASS bitchezz!! Seriously, how? I mean, I was not a fan since the beginning, mainly because in 2005 I was still collecting stickers in my album but when I DID oh boy, it was like gates of Heaven opened and AC/DC started playing “Back in black”. MAGIC bro. But before this “time flies” post turns into “How Supernatural changed my life: Extended edition vol #666” post I will stop here. It was season 6, I believe I have seen it first somewhere in the middle of the night while I could not sleep, what a delightful coincidence it was to see Sam and Dean killing monsters and stuff. And like I said, it is season 12 now, speedy time thinking it is the Flash.
And while we are here, my younger sister who was NOT a fan of comic book adaptions of any kind (or comics in general) somehow tuned into the show (which she saw on my laptop) and BAM! Love was born, now I don`t really watch The Flash but she is mental about it. I guess her growing up has some positive things.
I will wrap up the post now because started writing this to do something with my time that I got left (I actually have another 30ish minutes in the office). It is nothing strict but I like to be here because I do so much more work in the office than back at the house. I eat peanuts and watch movies the whole time. And yeah sometimes I talk to my housemates.
Anyway, time will continue to go by fast and there is nothing I or you can do about it (unless you invent a time-machine. That would be swell. Do it!) and all we can to is to play it. Live it, love it.
